I am delighted to have Dan Collins join the team and bring his depth of marine experience to support our growing water sector client base. Dr Shaun Plenty brings a wealth of technical and business skills to the water team, in an area where demands for our specialised aquatic ecology and water consultancy services continue to grow to meet client demand.”

Dan’s wealth of experience will support Thomson’s work on Environmental Impact Assessments, Water Framework Directive Assessments, Habitat Regulations Assessments and Marine Conservation Zone assessment areas. These are skills which are in increasing demand from Thomson’s expanding client base.

He has qualifications in environmental science, freshwater ecology and fisheries management and has over eight years’ of professional experience. Shaun’s expertise covers fish, macro-invertebrate and invasive species surveys, water quality monitoring, aquatic ecological impact assessments and fisheries management. Shaun said, “I look forward to helping expand Thomson Ecology’s presence in the aquatic ecological consultancy field, building on their excellent, world-leading capability and offering additional aquatic services to existing and future clients.”
