ROLO training

ROLO training is the delivery of the Register of Land-Based Operatives (ROLO), Health, Safety and Environmental Awareness Course. Its has been designed to raise the standards of health and safety, whilst reducing the risks and accidents throughout land-based sectors.

The scheme is administered by the British Association of Landscaping Industries (BALI). Since July 2014, the training has been officially recognised under the UKCG Health and Safety Training Standard, now known as Build UK.

Why do I need ROLO training?

ROLO training is a pre-requisite for anyone applying for a LISS/CSCS card for the following activities

  • Ecology
  • Environmental management
  • Horticulture
  • Landscape construction
  • Grounds maintenance (including pesticide spraying)
  • Arboriculture.

How do I get my ROLO certification?

We have a team of experts who can deliver ROLO training for your company. Regular courses, catering for up to 12 people, are run from our head office in Guildford, Surrey. We can also provide exclusive ROLO training at your own specified location, should numbers be viable. This allows your team greater flexibility when undertaking the training course.

All successful candidates will receive ROLO certificates produced by British Association of Landscaping Industries. Once issued, ROLO certificates are valid for 2 years.
