Yorkshire Dales habitat assessment contract awarded to Thomson Ecology
5th July 2011
We have won a contract to assess more than 5000 hectares in the upper Wharfedale parishes of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The habitats we will be assessing include limestone grassland, woodland and acid mire.
The National Park Authority will use the information we provide to inform its delivery of local biodiversity action plans as well as to identify new nature reserves.
Our proven track record to deliver large scale ecological contracts and our leading position in the field of botany and habitat surveys helped us to win the contract. We are really pleased to be working in such a lovely area and hope to deliver some useful findings.
