Thomson Ecology at Offshore Wind 2013

24-May-13

Thomson Ecology exhibited at Offshore Wind 2013, 12-13 June 2013, Manchester, with a focus on how project management of the ecological element of the consenting process can be a game changer for high risk, large scale projects.

First-class ecological project management is a key driver of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) delivery and the larger the project the more important it becomes. Getting a consultant's direct input to master planning can be a game changer - addressing complexity and more accurately scheduling marine and terrestrial components.

Dean Cambridge, commercial manager, says: "We have been involved in renewable energy projects since the very first wind farm was installed at Scroby Sands and our expertise across marine and terrestrial environments has secured us a leading position in the sector. Our strength is in planning and project managing the ecological element of the consenting process and producing a first-class report for the application."

Delegates discussed their projects with the company's representatives at the Show, and at the same time discovered more about how Thomson Ecology's approach to project management has helped deliver 100% success for those clients who have followed their advice.
