Helping schools to maximise BREEAM credits

Thomson Ecology are helping schools to achieve credits under the BREEAM Education assessment criteria. Our ecologists have been assessing a number of schools in the London area.
Thomson Ecology assesses schools, hospitals, commercial and residential property under the BREEAM and Code for Sustainable Homes assessments. By following the advice of our ecologists, a client is able to maximize their ecology credits.
Points are awarded according to the ecological value of the land and the protection of existing ecological features, the mitigation measures taken to minimize or compensate for the building’s ecological impacts, the enhancements made to the ecology of the site and the ecological management plan.
