Winter surveys
9th September 2010
There are certain surveys that can be done in the winter months.
By carrying out these surveys over the next few months, you will be better prepared to proceed with your projects next year.
Failure to carry out surveys in a timely manner can lead to a season being missed which can result in significant delays to a project.
The surveys that you should be booking now are:
- wintering birds
- bat scoping
- badgers
- otters
- dormice nut surveys
- BREEAM/ code for sustainable homes
- arboricultural
It is also a great time for getting your organisation into shape. Speak to us about biodiversity audits, biodiversity action plans and staff biodiversity training.
