Collaborate, innovate, succeed

CIWEM offices, 24th November 2015

Collaborative working with innovation reduces the costs of managing ecology. The aim of the workshop was to give insights into how to achieve these savings.

We talked about Thomson Ecology’s award-winning interactive mapping system, the use of eDNA to reduce time for species surveys, and possible cost savings with the use of drones. The speakers also explained future opportunities with big data, and the range of benefits from embracing collaborative working.
