Principal Marine Consultant

The role

We are looking for a marine consultant to join our dynamic water team. You will have an established career in commercial consultancy, having worked extensively in one (or more) of the following areas: tidal lagoon power, offshore wind, oil and gas rig decommissioning, or ports or harbour developments. This is a key role in our water team. You will be leading the technical and commercial delivery of our marine consultancy and therefore you will need to be experienced in generating revenue and profit, undertaking business development, preparing quotes and tenders and building client relationships. You will be a technical expert and capable of writing accurate and concise technical reports. Supported by a team of world class taxonomists who are at the leading edge of their scientific disciplines, with over 30 years’ commercial experience in marine benthic analysis - you will have all the services available in-house to deliver the full suite of marine consultancy assessment services.

Successful candidates must

This is a permanent position based ideally at our head office in Guildford on the picturesque Surrey Research Park. However, we will consider the successful candidate being located at one of our regional offices in Cardiff, Leeds or Glasgow. You will need to live within commuting distance of the office at which you wish to locate or will be prepared to relocate.
